呵呵，你朋友在美国吗。多大的孩子？有不少在美国出书的中国作家，写的大多是文革的经历。不过我刚给我女儿买了两本书，这两本是好多年前，一个外国人写的中国小孩的淘气故事。

前两本很有趣，是在书店看到的。作者ELEANOR FRANCES LATTIMORE (1904-1986)
是美国人，出生在上海，在中国长大。她是个画家，为孩子写作并自画插图，超过
50多本书。她的好多故事都是从她儿时在中国的记忆中汲取的素材。这两本关于
“小梨”的故事当然也不例外。里面的插图好可爱，我们一看就爱上了。
要买来看看，对于百年前中国的描写，是不是客观。如果有损中国人形象的话，呵
呵，就要批判。
