一位小学四年级班主任老师发邮件给我，请我给班集的图书角推荐一些英文书。
我想了想，国内孩子的英文水平不能和美国同龄孩子比较，章回读物可能看不了，还是以绘本为主，推荐的多数是名家作品，尽量涉及不同的主题。

这是一本鼓励孩子努力追求理想，不怕困难阻挠的书。书中的主人翁Grace由于富有冒险犯难的精神，再加上坚定的意志与不变的想法。终能突破困境，完成自己的梦想。这对于培养孩子独立负责的人生观是非常有帮助的

７、Once A Mouse 小老鼠和大老虎 凯迪克金奖 故事不长，单词不多，画面是版刻风格的，很有创意。作者玛西亚.布朗是美国当代最杰出的图画作家之一，多才多艺，是文字、图像、故事的实验家，９０多岁了。《石头汤》是她的作品。
