（另，貌似很多人喜欢这本书的剪纸风格封面，赫赫，这本是少年小说，所以整本书只有封面这么一张图画，大家不用想象里面还有很多精美的插画啥的了。赫赫）
The Mostly True Adventure of Homer P. Figg by Rodman Philbrick
故事背景为美国内战时期。深受虐待的孤儿HOMER在得知哥哥被冷酷的叔叔卖去从军后，就开始了一段追寻哥哥的不平常的旅行冒险。因了勇气、运气和必要时讲点瞎话，他最后侥幸在战争中存活下来。。故事很幽默有趣，不过其中穿插了生活的苦涩和战争的恐怖。
Where the Mountain Meets the Moon by Grace Lin
作者是一位华裔女作家，她利用大量的中国文化背景传说和故事，写成了这本书。小女孩MINLI为了改变村人和父母的贫穷困苦的生活命运，前往月见山找月老的故事。在路上她遇到了很多经历，而每遇到一个人一个事，都会有一个故事在其中。
本书相对比较浅显，相比其它几本，适读年龄略低。作者GRACE也是一位多产的儿童图画书的作者，所以本书内也有大量的充满中国特色的插画。
