ONE day Henny-penny was picking up corn inthe rick-yard when—whack!—an acorn hit her upon the head. "Goodnessgracious me!" said Henny-penny; "the sky's a-going to fall; I must goand tell the King."
一天，母鸡潘姬正在她的干草垛院子里捡玉米粒。突然，只听“咚”的一声，一个橡实砸中了她的脑袋。“上帝保佑！”母鸡潘姬叫了起来；“天要塌下来了；我得赶紧告诉国王。”

So she went along, and she went along, andshe went along till she met Cocky-locky. "Where are you going,Henny-penny?" says Cocky-locky. "Oh! I'm going to tell the King thesky's a-falling," says Henny-penny. "May I come with you?" saysCocky-locky. "Certainly," says Henny-penny. So Henny-penny andCocky-locky went to tell the King the sky was falling.
于是她出发了。她走啊走。走啊走。路上遇见了公鸡罗吉“母鸡潘姬~你要去哪儿呀？”公鸡罗吉问道“喔！我要去告诉国王天快塌下来了。”母鸡潘姬回答。“我能跟你一起去吗？”公鸡罗吉说。“好呀！”母鸡潘姬说。然后母鸡潘姬和公鸡罗吉一起去告诉国王天要塌了。

They went along, and they went along, andthey went along, till they met Ducky-daddles. "Where are you going to,Henny-penny and Cocky-locky?" says Ducky-daddles. "Oh! we're going totell the King the sky's a-falling," said Henny-penny and Cocky-locky."May I come with you?" says Ducky-daddles. "Certainly,"said Henny-penny and Cocky-locky. So Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, andDucky-daddles went to tell the King the sky was a-falling.

And Henny-penny, Cocky-locky,Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey said to Foxy-woxy, "We'regoing to tell the King the sky's a-falling." "Oh! but this is not theway to the King, Henny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey,"says Foxy-woxy; "I know the proper way; shall I show it you?""Oh, certainly, Foxy-woxy," said Henny-penny, Cocky-locky,Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey. So Henny-penny, Cocky-locky,Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, Turkey-lurkey,and Foxy-woxy all went to tell the King the sky was a-falling. So they wentalong, and they went along, and they went along, till they came to a narrow anddark hole. Now this was the door of Foxy-woxy's burrow. But Foxy-woxy said toHenny-penny, Cocky-locky, Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey,"This is the short cut to the King's palace: you'll soon get there if youfollow me. I will go first and you come after, Henny-penny, Cocky-locky,Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey." "Why of course,certainly, without doubt, why not?" said Henny-penny, Cocky-locky,Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey.
他们五个走啊走。走啊走。走啊走。路上遇见了狐狸沃利。“母鸡潘姬、公鸡罗吉、野鸭达亚、小鹅帕娥和火鸡乐基，你们去哪儿呀？”狐狸沃利问他们。母鸡潘姬、公鸡罗吉、野鸭达亚、小鹅帕娥和火鸡乐基对狐狸沃利说：“我们要去告诉国王天快塌下来了”“喔！但这条路去不了国王那儿呢~母鸡潘姬、公鸡罗吉、野鸭达亚、小鹅帕娥和火鸡乐基”狐狸沃利说“我知道正确的路哦~告诉你们吧？”“啊，好呀，狐狸沃利，” 母鸡潘姬、公鸡罗吉、野鸭达亚、小鹅帕娥和火鸡乐基说。于是母鸡潘姬、公鸡罗吉、野鸭达亚、小鹅帕娥、火鸡乐基和狐狸沃利一起去告诉国王天要塌了。他们六个走啊走。走啊走。走啊走。直到他们看见一个狭窄阴暗的洞口。其实这是狐狸沃利的家门。但狐狸沃利对母鸡潘姬、公鸡罗吉、野鸭达亚、小鹅帕娥和火鸡乐基说：“这是去王宫最短的路，跟我走的话你们很快就到了。母鸡潘姬、公鸡罗吉、野鸭达亚、小鹅帕娥和火鸡乐基。我先走你们跟上喔~”“当然。好极了。毫无疑问。干嘛不去？”母鸡潘姬、公鸡罗吉、野鸭达亚、小鹅帕娥和火鸡乐基说。

So Foxy-woxy went into his burrow, and hedidn't go very far but turned round to wait for Henny-penny, Cocky-locky,Ducky-daddles, Goosey-poosey, and Turkey-lurkey. Now Turkey-lurkey was thefirst to go through the dark hole into the burrow. He hadn't got far when—
于是狐狸沃利进了他的地洞。没走多远他就转身等母鸡潘姬、公鸡罗吉、野鸭达亚、小鹅帕娥、火鸡乐基。现在火鸡乐基是第一个穿过暗洞走进地穴的。他还没走远突然——

"Hrumph!"
“唔！”

Foxy-woxy snapped off Turkey-lurkey's headand threw his body over his left shoulder. Then Goosey-poosey went in, and—
狐狸沃利猛地咬下火鸡乐基的脑袋。把他的身体扔过自己的左肩。接着小鹅帕娥进来了，这时——

"Hrumph!"
“唔！”

Off went her head and Goosey-poosey wasthrown beside Turkey-lurkey. Then Ducky-daddles waddled down, and—
没脑袋的小鹅帕娥被扔在火鸡乐基旁边。接着野鸭达亚摇摇摆摆地走下来——

"Hrumph!"
“唔！”

Foxy-woxy had snapped off Ducky-daddles'head and Ducky-daddles was thrown alongside Turkey-lurkey and Goosey-poosey.Then Cocky-locky strutted down into the burrow and he hadn't gone far when—
狐狸沃利咬下野鸭达亚的脑袋，把他和火鸡乐基、小鹅帕娥丢在一起。接着公鸡罗吉趾高气扬地走下地穴。他没走几步——

"Hrumph!"
“唔！”

But Cocky-locky will always crow whetheryou want him to do so or not, and so he had just time for one"Cock-a-doodle-d—" before he went to join Turkey-lurkey,Goosey-poosey, and Ducky-daddles over Foxy-woxy's shoulders.
但是，不管你愿不愿意，公鸡罗吉总是会喔喔叫的。所以他只来得及发出一声“喔——唔——噢”就和火鸡乐基、小鹅帕娥、野鸭达亚一起压在狐狸沃利的肩膀上了。

Now when Henny-penny, who had just got intothe dark burrow, heard Cocky-locky crow, she said to herself:
当母鸡潘姬刚要走进地穴时，就听见公鸡罗吉的叫声，她对自己说：

"My goodness! it must be dawn. Timefor me to lay my egg."
“我的天哪！一定快天亮了。我应该去生蛋了。”

So she turned round and bustled off to hernest; so she escaped, but she never told the King the sky was falling!
所以她转身匆忙跑回她的窝；她逃脱了，但她从没有告诉国王天要塌了。

我知道才一篇不够资格 慢慢来嘛~（不翻一篇等久了我大概热情就熄灭了

总觉得这篇最难翻的是名字 搜到一个小母鸡潘妮的视频 听着念那一串名字很有趣 但是不知道怎么译有那种节奏感 自以为是的改成这样 现在看觉得音节很多很罗嗦 唉~大概会成反面教材？

顺手选到这篇了 没啥特别喜欢的说法 一边译一边读 读完觉得是个恐怖故事 （好吧方法不正确

原来四眼天鸡的动画来源是这个童话么？很可爱啊~（啥？两个完全不一样啊
